This line is an homage to our brand’s values of consistency, complexity, and classic elegance in an “everyday carry” price point. Rather than standing apart, the Essence Series embodies the very core of E.P. Carrillo, aiming to tell the story of our journey and what we stand for with every draw.
Each cigar in the Essence Series has been crafted to deliver an experience that resonates with our most loyal followers, reminding them of what E.P. Carrillo cigars have represented for over 15 years. In 2024, we released the first three blends: Maduro, Sumatra, and Honduras. In 2025, we’ll expand this line with exciting new blends and additional vitolas of the already-released blends.

This blend unites our family’s path from Cuba with the Meerapfel family’s commitment to preserving the Meerapfel Cameroon wrapper. Thanks to Rick Meerapfel’s efforts in the 1990s, this delicate tobacco has survived, bringing a unique spice and elegance to our blend.
